SouthEastern Illinois Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SEIEC) is a member-owned, non-for-profit, electric distribution Cooperative headquartered in Carrier Mills, Illinois. SEIEC provides service to 10 counties in southeastern Illinois serving over 24,000 accounts.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Due to an upcoming retirement, SEIEC has an immediate opening for Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer and is a key member of the Senior Management Team. The position is accountable for overseeing a staff of 3 professionals responsible for the accounting and financial functions of the organization, including maintaining the books of account, financial statements and report preparation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, tax, debt, regulatory accounting, plant/construction, payroll, budgeting and financial forecasting. Ensures the timely completion of required internal and external reporting requirements. Direct reports to the CFO include: Accounting, Payroll and Work Order Engineer.
